Book Launch of ‘Papercutting Tips & Techniques’

My book ‘Papercutting Tips & Techniques‘ was officially launched with a wonderful party at Walford Mill Crafts on a wonderfully hot and sunny evening of Saturday 24th June 2023. Huge thank you to all that came along, especially to the Muthacutters out in force – Jenni, Sarah and Kerri.

Chris Brown the funky town crier kicked off proceedings with a wonderful cry proclaiming me ‘treasure of Wimborne’ much to my delighted squeals. With cries of ‘SPEECH!’ directed at me after Chris had finished his shouting, I was so relieved I’d prepared a speech in advance where of course I had to start by thanking Crowood Press for approaching me in the first place and believing in me.

There was pink fizz and Tunnocks (of course) served by my wonderful fellow Walford Mill Makers Sarah, Debby, Tegan and Wendy. Additional food provided by Little Pickle at The Mill.

There was a banging backdrop of music mixed perfectly by my friend Jon and his scratchy decks.  Wimborne’s wonderful independent bookstore Gulliver’s Bookshop were selling copies which I was only too pleased to sign (some with a cock n’ balls). My lovely friend Natalie (from Natalie Ryan Design) took these wonderful pics – I was too busy shmoozing to take any!

All in all it was a fabulous evening, thank you to all that came along to make it such a special celebration!
