A beautiful letter W template will enable you to spend a relaxing crafternoon papercutting it by hand. You’ll need access to a printer, a cutting mat and scalpel, and an hour or so of peace and quiet. After you’ve cut out the design, you can frame is in a standard or floating 8″ x 10″ frame (landscape) which makes a perfect handmade gift. Suitable for beginners.

My letter W template is based on the shape of the letters from one of my favourite typefaces Eames, I really enjoyed designing the whole alphabet – all available for you to cut. They are really fun to cut and even though they look delicate, they are ideal for beginners. They look absolutely gorgeous in a floating frame, and would make a great handmade birthday gift for a friend.

What tools do I need? What paper is best to use?

How can I show it off?
The finished size is 216mm x 157mm so should fit in a standard landscape 8×10 frame. Would look wonderful mounted onto a coloured paper or in between glass in a floating frame.
